AFFORDABLE HOUSING
Increased state financial support for workforce housing and affordable childcare and eldercare should be directed statewide and not just in NH's cities. The state meeting its adequate funding obligation to schools, through other sources than property taxes, will lower property taxes.
AFFORDABLE HOUSING IS KEY TO THE NH ADVANTAGE
Our businesses, schools, hospitals, government and more all need employees.
Unless all employers can raise their lower salaries demonstrably, a collaborative effort between the state, local governments, housing entities and businesses must be undertaken in order to address the affordable housing shortfall.
